1. How long does it take after we place an order to receive cards?
Our turnaround time is normally 30-45 days from the time we receive your order.
Because we actually contract with the merchants for your card it sometimes
takes a little longer. Be cautious of a company that claims to be able to get
you cards in a short time. They might be taking shortcuts.
2. Can you give us ideas on how and where to sell cards?
Yes we can. We send you our Success Manual that's full of ideas and easy sales
pitch for younger sellers who may not know what to say, and ideas on how to
sell cards to everyone, and also demonstrates how to sell cards in multiples.
3. When do we have to pay for the cards?
Credit is automatically extended to public schools with an acceptable purchase
order or with a responsible person assuming liability for payment. Credit may
be extended to other organizations. Balance is due 30 days after delivery.
4. How many businesses can you get on a card?
We like to place 12-15 businesses on each card. If you have more than 15 the
print much be a lot smaller making the offers difficult to read. Merchants
also prefer to limit the number to 15 also. That way they know their space
will likely be read. When more than 15 are on a card many people pass right
over some of the offers without even reading them. The secret to next years
sale is utilization of the cards this year.
5. Do we get a say in what businesses are on the card?
Yes! We have a unique way of selecting the businesses. You do not have to make
out a list, look up phone numbers or zip codes or send us a phone book. We
own a comprehensive data base of United States businesses. We bring up all
businesses in your market area that appear to be appropriate for your card.
Then, we call you and you select from that list the ones you would like us
to contact. If you have a business that is not on our data base, you may add
it. WE ONLY CONTACT VENDORS THAT YOU HAVE CHOSEN.
6. May I return unsold cards?
Depending on how many you initially order, you may return some unsold cards.
But, you must pay for a minimum of 300 cards. If you place an order of over
600 cards you get 10% cards free...so if you order 600 we will send 660 cards...the
group then keeps a full $10 on the extra 60 cards...bringing them upto 55%
profit, however you get no return privileges with this Bonus Card program.
If an account becomes 30 days past due, no cards are returnable for credit.

8. Do you have references?
Yes! It is not unusual for people to write and tell us good things about our
programs. Some businesses will send a short list of people who seem to like
them. Of course they would not send you the name of someone that did not like
them.
We suggest that an impartial rating of how we do business is best. That would
come from your local Better Business Bureau. We have many inquirys from across
the country to the BBB. However, after dealing with hundreds of groups and
thousands of businesses we are proud to say that we have never had a complaint
to the BBB. Contact your local BBB to verify that statement. That's the best
type of reference a business can have.
9. What about sales taxes?
We are wholesalers. We do not sell on a retail basis. Each state has its own
regulations regarding sales taxes and when they should be collected. If your
state or county requires you to collect sales taxes that is between you and
them. Since we wholesale only, we do not collect sales taxes.
10. How can we make the most of our Value Cards?
Use ideas from the Success Manual and from your representative. Make sure as
many people as possible participate as sellers, and have each person make out
a prospect list before the sale starts.
11. Who contacts the businesses?
Value Cards Corp specially trained enrollment specialists contact the businesses.
12. Can we have our school/group logo on the front of our cards?
Yes. If you can furnish us a camera ready black on white, and we can put full
color digital photos on at NO EXTRA COST!!
13. What type offers are on the cards?
Discount offers from local businesses vary. Most are 2-for-1 food offers, discounts
on video rental, entertainment, oil changes, cleaners, etc..
14. How long should our sale last?
We recommend a two-week sales campaign.
15. When does the card expire?
Expiration date is usually determined by the kick-off date or the
expected end of sale date, and will be one full year from that day.
16. What if we need sequential numbers?
It makes the cards easier to check in and check out. Some merchants will also
use the number in special promotions. Your representative will share other
ways the numbers can help you sell more cards.
