PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION
Scholastic Supply realizes that fundraising is understandably considered
a "necessary evil" by many teachers, therefore we've put together what
we consider to be a friendly and non-intrusive profit-making concept: -We don't
use field reps!
Our customers receive a kit with one brochure per
group member, and a 12-minute video.. the first part (seven
minutes) shows the various Biomat flowers and vegetables and how your customers
will use it, including planting and watering; The second part (five minutes)
is the motivational Kickstart portion that instructs your group re the
actual mechanics of the selling, recording the customer info, and the delivery
of the product, and is normally shown at the time of handing out the brochures
and starting the project.
We have learned that for a K-12 level
fundraiser to succeed, the group must
maintain enthusiasm and focus, i.e. keep
it short and simple. Order-taking shouldn't exceed
two weeks!
The group makes 40% profit; for example, if your group
retails $1,000 they
keep $400 profit, and remit the balance as
payment in full.
Our customers will never be stuck with unsold merchandise provided
returned products are shipped unopened and undamaged. Credit for returns will
be deducted from customer's bill. Institutional groups are not billed until the
project is completed and money collected. Customer pays for return shipping.
